The Learning Process
These are common problems that students have encountered when learning a second language:
Too many different teachers, causing problems with pronunciation.
Non native speaking teachers, who although are excellent with grammar and structure are very often challenged with developing students conversational skills.
Students are booking extensive courses which in my opinion are both too long and in most cases overpriced.
Students cannot find the motivation to carry on with the learning process because classes no longer challenge their skills.
Teachers are unable to identify students strengths and weaknesses and subsequently lessons are not developing the students confidence.
Students and teachers are not embracing technology such as tablets or laptops saving time, fuel and effort.
Students are not recording their voice and are so are subsequently relying on others to tell them what they sound like.
My advice to you, is to take the learning process seriously it is after all a process. Find a teacher who understands your specific need to learn the language. Do not rely on text books.... They don't talk back! Practice your skill and continually set new goals and objectives.
