The Learning Process

Image
These are common problems that students have encountered when learning a second language: Too many different teachers, causing problems with pronunciation. Non native speaking teachers, who although are excellent with grammar and structure are very often challenged with developing students conversational skills. Students are booking extensive courses which in my opinion are both too long and in most cases overpriced. Students cannot find the motivation to carry on with the learning process because classes no longer challenge their skills. Teachers are unable to identify students strengths and weaknesses and subsequently lessons are not developing the students confidence. Students and teachers are not embracing technology such as tablets or laptops saving time, fuel and effort. Students are not recording their voice and are so are subsequently relying on others to tell them what they sound like. My advice to you, is to take the learning process seriously it is after all ...

Why Do We Need To Learn English?

There are many reasons as to why someone would consider learning English as a second language. Some have dubbed it the language of money, others have discounted it as a cultural invasion. The global economic climate has changed people's perceptions as more and more Europeans flock into Language Academies. The influence of music, movies and social networking pla tforms have changed perceptions, for many however the need to improve job prospects and create opportunity in the work place is probably a more credible motivator. The English language is considered the language of business and as such plays a considerable role in the process of Import and Export. The recession is now a period of business reform, making money has become more complex and one of the most relevant points that could be made is the development of new positions in emerging markets where the English Language is a key factor. Here are a few reasons why you would consider learning English as a seco...

Speaking Practice

Image
I provide assistance with TOEIC, IELTS, TOEFL, GEPT and many more. Most exams have been split into different sections to include; Speaking, writing, listening and reading. Under test conditions you will have to demonstrate your ability to answer questions alone or with a partner or examiner. Having taken over 300 Skype lessons, please feel free to see what my students have said about me. I teach from various teaching platforms but I have completed over 100 of my lessons through Buddyschool www.buddyschool.com you can search for me there under: engteachersam. ( just type the name into the search for teachers box) All my students have left notes about me so feel free to have a look. If you pay for 10 lessons with me through Paypal you reduce my hourly fee to 8.50€ which is very competitive. Lots of people have never tried Skype lessons and feel unsure as to how effective they are, but Academies rarely supply native teachers so there is already an advantage. Why not try a free 30 minu...

You will be very surprised at how fast you conversational skills develop in a very short period of time.... Could you describe this photo in English?

The Interview

Most of my students are preparing for exams but they are also learning how to practice for interviews, I have dedicated lesson plans for both. Contact me today to find out more....

Thank You

Thank you for the emails that you have been sending to me, I hope to answer all of them shortly. The most popular question is; " Can you help me to improve my conversational skills?". Conversation comes with practice, if you imagine having a coffee with a native speaker once a week, without a doubt you would improve your confidence and this is key feature of my lessons. Skype offers a modern way of learning, at your own speed, when it is convenient to you. Now imagine me as that friend you are having coffee with, once a week we would discuss different topics of your choice and develop your vocabulary and speech patterns in a relaxed environment. You do not need to turn on your camera so it is just a voice over the computer. There are no courses to book, you just pay for a lesson when you feel that you need one. Contact me to see how I can help you today,  Hope to see you in class soon, Sanj
